Life in the future

Sooo i get these moments where i want to write stuff down, then i rem i have this blog, i was just thinking about next year , on this day, at probably this time, what i will be doing. Will my life be the same, working in this same desk , in this same place, probably with a few more coins added to my pocket ( i may not feel the impact of these coins, as life seems to be getting tough, and the economy isn't loosing up) Will i still be dating this guy, that even when thinking about him, brings a smile to my face, will we still have this thing, this unexplainable excitement. Will i have done most of the papers that i had planned to do, would i have saved enough for a down payment  of a property, would i have lost the 5 kg's that i really want to loose, yes i said five not more. I always begin each year, without a list of expectation, but i always hope and pray that, that year things will turn out better, that i will achieve more than i did the year before, that exceed what i ha...

Life

It's 2011, this year promises to be intresting. We have several prominent people, well known as the ocampo six, who are expected to head to the hague to answer questons about instigating violence in the 2007 elections. Before i talk more about this year, i am going to recognised the most important event that took place last year, and it's the voting and passing of the new constitution, the inauguration ceremony, was extremely emotional and an exciting affair, no words can exactly put the emotions that were felt that day into a sentence. We have had the same constitution since independence, it was a great moment, and the unity that was there during the whole voting process, is something to admire. 2011, we are at the implementation phase, which we as a country knew it will not be easy, considering that politicians never change, but we hope that, they will put their selfish greed aside and serve the people who put them into power. Am proud and happy to say as a nation we ha...

Religion

wow,2010 Even forgot this blog existed, uh 2007 to 2010, 3 years, could have even bone 3 young ones if i worked hard at it. To recap, the election was bad, that is an uderstatement, it was worse than i thought, question is did we learn anything? Late 2008,and early 2009 we become a hunger stricken country and now 2010 we are a land flowing with milk, literally. This year promises to be quite intresting ,considering how things are turning out,we have become quite a religious nation, shocks me how at times .....gullible we still are.Yesterday i saw something that baffled me, i saw a congregation embrace the cold, the rain in unision because they expected two of their pastors ,who had died on a road accident two days ago to resurrect !!.........speechless,this is after the finger of God saga. What to say, atleast it takes our mind off the current wrangles in goverment.

Grandma in court

In a trial, a small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness,an elderly grandmother to the stand. He approached her and asked; "Mrs.. Jones, do you know me?" She responded, "Why, yes, I do know you, Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a young boy, and frankly, you're a big disappointment to me.You lie, cheat on your wife, manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you never will amount to anything more than a two-bitpaper pusher.Yes, I know you." The lawyer was stunned! Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, "Mrs.. Jones, do you know the defense attorney?" She again replied, "Why, yes, I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he wasa youngster. He's lazy, bigoted, and has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone and his law practice is one of the worst in the state. Not to ment...

election year

This is my first post, and am really excited about this,i intend to make this one of the most interesting blogs ever. This is an election year in my country, and currently there is a lot of tension all over,i pray that our politicians behave and we have peaceful elections, because there is nothing as bad as politicians inciting individuals. It kind of takes me back to the Rwandan genocide it all started with politicians spreading hate messages and inciting individuals and the results of that to say the least astonished the world over.I also do remember the 1997 likoni clashes,a lot of families loosed their loved ones,i cannot even put to word what was happening in the ground, but i know many innocent lives were lost, all because of irate politicians.I wish there was a law against politicians who incite citizens and spread hate and tribalism, they need to be punished and held accountable for they actions.I still wait in hopeof the day that a law like that will be there, and pray for peaceful ele...
